The material
Benacci’s decorative wall panels are made of SPC (Stone Pressed Component). They consist of 70% natural marble minerals. This material has many advantages.
The most important features ✓ 100% waterproof ✓ Scratch and impact resistant ✓ Contain no plasticizers ✓ Does not expand or shrink
The design of the panels is based on naturally occurring marble and stone types, which are realized with the most innovative technology.
The wall panels are very suitable for use in wet areas such as the bathroom, shower cabin, toilet or kitchen. They can also be used for other interior applications such as in the bedroom or living room. Discover everything about the material of the wall panels here.
Installation
Due to the large size of 2800 x 1230 x 4 mm, the walls can be mounted in one piece. In this way the design comes into its own. The panels are suitable for both new construction and renovation. Benacci wall panels are easy to process because they are easy to saw and drill. It is possible to mount the panels on most possible rear walls.
Mounting the panels is easy by gluing them to the wall. Then all you have to do is seal the walls. The ideal adhesive and sealant, which has been extensively tested, can be supplied. Another option to finish the panels is with profiles. Discover how the wall panels can be installed on the installation page. All installation materials are shown under mounting accessories .
The right number of panels
The number of panels required for new construction and renovation depends on the dimensions of the walls on which the wall panels are mounted. Each plate has a size of 2800 x 1230 x 4 mm. The great height means that the plate will often always reach directly from the ground to the ceiling. That means no seams in the horizontal shape. With the width of the panel 1230 mm, a calculation can be made of how many panels will be needed to cover the entire surface for which the wall elements are intended. For example, for shower back walls, only 2 plates may be sufficient. For a complete bathroom renovation that uses all walls, often a bit more.
